Shelli Dowty

Shelli Dowty is honored to serve as a member of the Cotillion Social Board. Originally from Tunica, Mississippi, she was raised in a close-knit Southern community where respect, courtesy, strong character, and social grace were deeply valued. Shelli has been employed with Quest Diagnostics for the past 11 years and has also served as a local director for the Miss Magnolia State Pageant for more than 25 years, where she has had the privilege of mentoring and encouraging young people while promoting confidence, leadership, positivity, and personal growth.

Watching her own daughter experience Cotillion and grow in confidence, character, respect, and social grace has made Shelli’s service on the board a natural fit. A devoted wife and mother, she values family and finds great joy in supporting and encouraging others. Shelli and her family attend Compel Church in Southaven, and she is grateful for the opportunity to help continue a tradition that invests in young people, strengthens families, and positively impacts the community.
